GS Yuasa Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6674) and three of its group companies*1 announced today, March 9, that they have been certified as a "Health & Productivity Management Organization 2026 (Large Enterprise Category) White 500" under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)'s "Health & Productivity Management Organization Recognition Program."*2 This marks GS Yuasa's fourth recognition as a Health & Productivity Management Organization (White 500) since 2018.

The GS Yuasa Group is committed to fostering a workplace where employees can work healthily and vibrantly, based on its "Health & Productivity Management Policy." To achieve the goals set forth in this policy, the Group formulated a "Health & Productivity Management Action Guide" beginning in fiscal year 2025. As part of this guide, "Health ENERGY-6"*3, a set of behavioral guidelines designed to encourage employees to autonomously review their lifestyle habits, has been actively implemented across the entire company.

These concerted efforts led to this prestigious certification. Furthermore, the evaluation highly recognized our collaborative health initiatives ("Collabo-Health")*4 with our health insurance society. These initiatives include encouraging participation in specific health guidance programs and severe disease prevention programs by medical professionals, promoting online smoking cessation clinics, and implementing company-wide unified smoke-free times.

The GS Yuasa Group will continue its dedicated efforts in health and productivity management.
