The 18th GS YUASA ECO Art Contest for Elementary School Students to be Held

GS Yuasa Battery Ltd. (“GS Yuasa“), a GS Yuasa Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6674) group company, will hold the 18th GS YUASA ECO Art Contest for Elementary School Students from October 1, 2026 to January 18, 2027.
This contest has been held since 2009 in the hope that it will encourage children and their families to think together about what the environment means to them.
This is the 18th edition of the contest. We invite elementary school students to create artwork about nature as we ask them to consider the theme of “I Found It! Nature’s Treasures!”.
Following a rigorous judging process, submitted paintings will be selected for the Gold Prize, Environment Minister’s Prize, Silver Prize, Bronze Prize, NICKER COLOUR Prize, Shigeru-kun Prize, Honorable Mention, and Organization Award. Winners and honorable mentions will receive prizes, including a trip to Yakushima, a Natural World Heritage site. *1 In addition, all applicants will receive a canvas pouch.
Through such CSR activities, our company aims to contribute to the formation of an environmentally conscious society.
