"Hamanako" Monument Installed at EXPASA Hamanako to Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Release of BLUE BATTERY's "caos"

GS Yuasa Energy Ltd., a GS Yuasa Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6674) group company and the manufacturer of the "caos" car battery brand *1 , announced that it installed a "Hamanako" character monument at EXPASA Hamanako on the Tomei Expressway on March 21. This installation commemorates the 20th anniversary of the "caos" brand's launch. An unveiling ceremony was also held on the same day, attended by the Mayor of Kosai City and the Deputy Mayor of Hamamatsu City.

EXPASA Hamanako serves as a vital transportation hub, frequented by people for various purposes including commuting, business, tourism, and returning home. The Hamanako area has also served as the production region that has long supported the "caos" brand. The monument was installed at EXPASA Hamanako to symbolize the link between the birthplace of “caos" and a place for drivers to rest and recharge. It is anticipated that this will become a new photo spot within the service area.
In addition, coinciding with the monument's installation, a special exhibition space has been established in the food court building of EXPASA Hamanako. This space aims to provide a deeper insight into the appeal of BLUE BATTERY "caos." It showcases the brand's history of supporting "that very moment" when an engine starts, the new slogan unveiled for its 20th anniversary, and the story embedded within the "Hamanako" Monument.
