GS Yuasa Battery Ltd., a GS Yuasa Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 6674) group company,　has decided to revise the prices of replacement lead-acid batteries for automobiles effective in Japan starting in August 2026.

In recent years, costs such as raw materials, energy, logistics, and labor have continued to rise, and the ongoing uncertainty in global affairs suggests that the high procurement costs for raw materials will likely persist.

GS Yuasa Group has continuously worked to streamline production and reduce costs, but under these circumstances we have determined that, despite our corporate efforts—including securing raw materials—it is difficult to maintain previous prices. Therefore, we have decided to revise prices to ensure a stable supply of products.

GS Yuasa will continue to reduce costs and make even greater efforts to provide products and services that satisfy our users and business partners.

1.    Products Subject to Revision
　Automotive lead-acid storage batteries (for replacement): all models (for automobiles, motorcycles, and cycle-service use)

2.    Details of Price Revision (Rate of Increase)
　Automotive lead-acid batteries: 20% or more
　Motorcycle lead-acid batteries: 20% or more
　Cycle service lead-acid batteries: 20% or more

3.    Implementation Date
　To be implemented for shipments starting in August 2026.
