GS Yuasa International Ltd. , Industrial Batteries & Power Sources Business Unit , is pleased to announce its recent participation of membership in the Factory Pride Association (hereinafter referred to as "FPA").

The FPA is an organization operating under the slogan "Be Proud of Your Factory." Its mission is to enhance the pride of people who is involved in manufacturing professionals, and to re-evaluate the value of the manufacturing industry as well as its working environment. The association is committed to establish new standards in manufacturing through cross-industry exchanges, conferences, factory tours, and other activities.

We, Industrial Batteries & Power Sources Business Unit, have supported social infrastructure with our products as well as bearing its service & maintenance over many years, and built our business history by prioritizing safety and quality, leveraging the skills, knowledge, and also strong sense of responsibility of each and every person working on the front lines. We support and stay with society behind the scenes, then believe an uncompromising stance on on-site quality and a sense of pride in our work are the unchanging sources of our sustainable value.

However, the value and pride derived from these on-site efforts have not always been clearly  conveyed to society. Our purpose to join the FPA is to express in words as well as visualize  “Our Pride In Our Workplace” that we have cherished, And we would like to share it with external stakeholders, and promote the environment where manufacturing professionals can work with pride, through co-creation with external partners.

Moving forward, we will actively participate in cross-industry exchanges, conferences, and other activities organized by the FPA. This involvement will contribute to human resource development, improvement of the working environment, and enhancement of on-site capabilities. Under the mission to support "Power Sources That Must Not Be Interrupted" we aim to continue to be a company where each employee can maintain pride in their work, while also serving as an entity that conveys the value of manufacturing to society.

The Factory Pride Association (FPA) is a general incorporated association established in 2025, with member companies and individuals involved in the manufacturing sector. The purpose is to share an understanding of challenges in manufacturing sites and to promote cross-company exchanges.
